Continue on this road over two roundabouts towards Gateshead. At the second set of lights turn left onto the TyneBridge approach road. Turn left into Bottle Bank. The hotel is on the left. By trainNewcastle Central Station. TaxiTake a taxi from the `rank` immediately outside Newcastle Central Station to the Hilton Newcastle Hotel. The journey should take around 15 minutes depending on traffic. MetroFrom Newcastle Central Station it's just one stop – a 5 minute journey – on the metro (towards South Shields, Park Lane or South Hylton) to Gateshead metro station. From here walk down the hill and under the bridge for 5 minutes and the Hilton Newcastle Gateshead hotel is on the left. ParkingThere are 184 parking spaces in a secure, covered car park with controlled gates under the hotel. When you enter the ground of the hotel, follow the road round to the right of the hotel and park in the underground car park. Car parking costs are £4 for 0-3 hours, £5 for 3-6 hours, £6 for 6-9 hours and £9 for 9+ hours. To get this rate you must give your ticket to the reception or concierge. Parking is also available at the Sage, Gateshead which is just a short walk away from the hotel. |
